Together with the Earth, forever.
Ah, how comfortable.
We aim to create a place where people can feel that way and enjoy themselves for a long time.
A sustainable society cannot be achieved by giving up something.
We want each and every one of us to enjoy it wholeheartedly and, as a result, to be kind to the Earth.
If you continue to be kind to us,
There are societies where sustainability is the norm.
What will you do at MARINE & WALK today?

As an upcycling project proposed by Begin, a night flea market will be held by fashionistas from Begin and LaLaBegin.
We invited stylists and well-known press to participate and provide visitors with an opportunity to think about the SDGs.
A collection of environmentally friendly items
POP-UP SHOP
THE GOODLAND MARKET, a sustainable brand from URBAN RESEARCH, has teamed up with MARINE & WALK YOKOHAMA to hold the first ever circular market event centered around the three categories of NATURE, SUSTAINABLE, and UPCYCLE.
Pop-up shops offering easy-to-purchase environmentally friendly items were set up on the streets within the facility.
Utilizing marine waste
Creating a "sustainable" Christmas space
Continuing on from previous years, the theme was "sustainability," and an inspiring upcycling Christmas experience was created, breathing new life into objects that had outlived their usefulness and giving them a new shine. In 2023, the Christmas space will be centered around a Christmas tree made from marine waste, and a photo spot will be set up to give you a taste of the upcycling spirit.
Taking advantage of the open space of MARINE & WALK, we have prepared many outdoor photo spots for you to enjoy. We have created a space using various marine waste materials, such as wreaths made from marine waste and photo spots where you can enjoy with your pet dog.
Based on the concept of Reuse/Reborn
Further evolution from 2023
The main Christmas tree for 2024 will be based on the concept of "Reborn Christmas," and will be an upcycled "Reborn Buoy Tree" made from reused yarn from the 2023 Christmas tree "Buoy Tree." The yarn used in 2023 will be unraveled and turned into wool felt to create new decorations, making it not only cute and impactful, but also one of a kind and a symbol of Merry Mellow Christmas 1.
Upcycle your old clothes
We are currently upcycling old clothes into chairs and tables in the facility as PANECO®, which are currently on display. This will provide an opportunity for tenants, customers, and the entire local community to take action for a sustainable society.

Projects aimed at realizing a decarbonized society
The "Fry to Fly Project" is a project aimed at realizing a carbon-free society by creating a world in which aircraft can fly using SAF (an aviation fuel that can reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 80% compared to conventional aviation fuel) made from waste cooking oil generated at home, stores, etc.
